What a great event this was, over 160 delegates attended and the general impression was that this was the best ever.

The instant gallery was outstanding with much of the work very innovative and original and the standard of turning very high. The overseas presenters gave us the opportunity to see some very original work and our own UK presenters showed that in this country we can well and truly hold our own. 

What a great atmosphere there was, with ideas being exchanged both in the demonstration rooms and at the bar after.

The one slot sessions gave some less well known turners the opportunity to brave the major demonstration arena and how well they all coped.

The selectors panel had quite a task to chose the 50 items from the instant gallery which will go on tour at the autumn shows. So watch out for this gallery at these events.
